Microsoft Zune is Launched-Ipod Killer?

So Zune has been released, and these few little specs have caught my eye:
“3-inch screen, a built-in FM tuner, and wireless capability”
Sweet!
here is some details

So what do you think? Will it kill the iPod? Or will it dominate the ‘I have an MP3 player, but it’s not an iPod” market?

Microsoft has unveiled its Zune digital music player with a 3-inch screen, a built-in FM tuner, and wireless capability to let users discover new music and exchange songs and photos.

The device, which comes in white, black, and brown, is expected to be available in a 30GB version this Christmas, in competition with Apple’s iPod. However, the pricing and exact date of release have not yet been announced.

The company says that the player, which will hold around 7,500 songs; 25,000 pictures; or 100 hours of video; is all about making connections.

Talking about the player, J Allard, vice president – design and development, Microsoft, said that with Zune, they are not simply delivering a portable device. In fact, they are introducing a new platform that helps bring artists closer to their audiences, and helps people find new music and develop new social connections.

Zune, which is manufactured by Toshiba, will allow users to listen to any shared song three times over a three-day period. Users will also be able to share sample tracks, playlists, or photos. Zune will be preloaded with music from record labels, including Astralwerks Records and Virgin Records from EMI Music.

Along with the player, Microsoft is also launching the Zune Marketplace, a download service on the lines of Apple’s iTunes Store, which will allow users to download music directly onto Zune. The store is expected to have more than 2 million songs at launch from all major record labels.

And unlike iTunes, the Zune Marketplace will provide users with the option to either buy a flat-fee subscription to download an unlimited number of songs, or to purchase songs individually.

However, movies and television shows will not be available for download when Zune launches, but Microsoft says that it is in talks with major television and movie studios about adding video content to the Zune Marketplace.

Meanwhile, Microsoft will also have three accessory packs available for Zune, including a car pack, a home pack that links the device to TV and music speakers, and a travel pack

What you think about Zune ! An i-pod killer or not !

AdSense Revenue Doubles by filtering MFA (Made for adsense) sites.

September 27th, 2006 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Tech Gadgets

As you are i am also an adsense publisher . I started as an adsense publisher around an year ago and now earning some descent amount from adsense . In this page you can find my latest findings tips and tricks about adsense . hope you wil read and enjoy and also please let me know your suggestions you can comment here on the post .
some times ago one of the forum(online community ) there was a discussion about increasing the CPC(cost per click of adsense clicks. Here i am summerising what you need to do to increase the CPC of the ads that are apperaing on your sites.

The first point here is filtering MFA sites.

OK let me tell you first what is MFA sites. MFA sites (made for adsense) purely made for displaying adsense ads and usually contains noting other than adsense ads . And these site owners use adwors to advertise their site and usually they cant afford more than $.01 /click . but 1 cent is barely a very small amount , so i think i think its bad to take away users from our sites for just one cent .

Now you may be wondering how can I filter MFA ads appering from your websites. i suggeswt you to go to  http://www.adsblacklist.com/  . select a category that matchesw your website and you awill get a list of MFA sites  . Then select the sites and login to your adsense account and  select ‘competative ads filter ” then put the site list you copied here and press UPDATE . wow  take a deep braeth now you have done a  good work . It may take some time . gradually you can see inrease in CPC  .

I discovered a great site showing the MFA sites’ url. I added the links to my Competitive Ad Filter since there was no url before. I check my AdSense revenue daily and found out that my earnings were increasing. Since the number of clicks were not increasing, then, I realize that by filtering MFA sites I can earn even more per click. I’m always amazed by how top MFA sites like best4sites[dot]net, all-free-info[dot]com, click-here-4-best[dot]info showing at top of my ads. I started to check each and every AdSense links on my sites and filtered all the MFA sites. Of course, you can’t click on your own AdSense links. However, you are allowed to right click on your own AdSense ad title to find out the destination url of the ads. And add them to the Competitive Ad Filter. I would also suggest you all to add tinyurl[dot]com and denmark[dot]com to your filter list since many MFA sites love to use these services to hide their urls. To AdSense team: please increase the limit of URL of the Competitive Ad Filter. The current 200 urls limit is not enough since the MFA sites are increasing at a very fast pace (due to your kindness for allowing these no-content-but-only-adsense sites showing AdSense).

Best of luck wishing you a happy adsense experience . If you have something to say  please comment to this post .
